SMALL-BUSINESS OWNERS SEEM TO BE SMILING THESE DAYS--ACCORDING TO A RECENT FEDEX OFFICE-SURVEY.  IN FACT, THEY'RE SHOWING HIGHER LEVELS OF CONFIDENCE--WITH 63-PERCENT REPORTING A POSITIVE LONG-TERM-OUTLOOK FOR THEIR BUSINESS.  SMALL-BUSINESS OWNERS ARE ALSO WILLING TO SPEND MORE THIS YEAR, IN ORDER TO GROW THEIR BUSINESSES.  OVERALL, THE SURVEY FOUND THAT THEIR OUTLOOK FOR 2011 IS EVEN STRONGER THAN IT WAS FOR LAST YEAR:  SPECIFICALLY, 44-PERCENT OF SMALL-BUSINESS OWNERS ARE LOOKING TO EXPAND THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES--AND 55-PERCENT PLAN TO STRATEGICALLY INVEST IN THEIR MARKETING-EFFORTS THIS YEAR.  ALSO, THE SURVEY FOUND THAT NEARLY A QUARTER OF SMALL-BUSINESS OWNERS THINK THAT THEIR MARKETING-MATERIALS AREN'T UP TO PAR.  HOWEVER, THERE ARE MANY RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO HELP THEM IMPROVE OR EXPAND THEIR VISIBILITY--INCLUDING FEDEX OFFICE.  SMART MARKETING IS KEY TO GROWING A BUSINESS--AND THE COMMITMENT AMONG SMALL BUSINESSES TO INVEST IN THIS AREA IS A SIGN THAT THEY'RE SEEING RESULTS.  TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS SURVEY, VISIT "NEWS"-DOT-"FEDEX"-DOT-COM.
