Virtually all of the older reports on RadioSpace™ are available in MP3 (often at both 48 kbps and 96 kbps). Starting in 2011, however, new reports will tend to be posted as:
- mp3PRO (at 56 kbps),
- MPEG-4/AAC-encoded QuickTime (at 64 kbps),
- and Windows Media Audio 9.2 (at 48 kbps).
All audio should be in 16-bit mono, with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz.
If you want to edit an audio file, try one of these recommended editor programs for Windows:
- GoldWave,
- Sound Forge from Sony Creative Software,
- or Adobe Audition.
You can obviously use other editors, including for Macintosh and other platforms. Since the use of our reports is unrestricted, you can edit them as you like!
While recent versions of all three editors will open the Windows Media Audio files, only GoldWave and Sound Forge will open the QuickTime files, and only Audition (through version 3.0) fully supports mp3PRO; the other two will open the mp3PRO files as standard MP3 audio (at 22.05 kHz).
